The prompt cards are what finally got me past the blank-page stare, since I never know what to write about on my own. The writing journal itself has just enough structure without feeling like a chore. Three weeks in and I'm actually looking forward to it.
I've tried journaling apps before but always quit within a week, so the physical writing journal in this set made a bigger difference than I expected. The paper takes ink without bleeding, and the prompt cards give me a starting point on nights when my mind goes blank.
The prompt cards actually got me past the blank-page thing—I pull one after dinner and end up writing for twenty minutes. The journal paper is thick enough that my fountain pen doesn't bleed through, which I wasn't expecting at this price.
