My in-laws are usually glued to their phones, but this got everyone actually talking and laughing for two hours straight. The questions are personal enough to matter without getting awkward.
We played this after dinner with my parents and my teenagers, and the conversation cards got everyone talking instead of staring at phones. My dad actually teared up laughing at one of the questions. It's rare to find something that works for both a 14-year-old and a 70-year-old.
Pulled this out on a rainy Sunday when everyone was glued to their phones, and within two rounds we were actually talking and laughing instead of scrolling. The questions get surprisingly deep without feeling forced, which is exactly what I hoped for.
